http://www.everygreatreason.org/index.html Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA) is a horrific, national blight. Our mission is to create critical Awareness and provide the necessary Resources so that turn the tragedy of Ellen's death into a triumph for others.

Every person has Every Great Reason to live, truly be alive and lead a wonderful life.

Every person has the right and opportunity to make a change, start over, and begin life again – particularly when they find themselves in a hopeless relationship situation,

The Every Great Reason Foundation provides an avenue for women who are seemingly shackled to courageously move forward with their lives.

Our charter is to create awareness about Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA), to help provide resources and support to other DVA organizations and to help women and their families with access to support, counseling, shelter, and necessary resources - so that they are empowered - with the realization and capabilities that they have Every Great Reason to begin a New Life. Ellen Gregory Robb was brutally murdered on December 22, 2006 while wrapping Christmas Presents in the kitchen of her suburban home on the Main Line of Philadelphia.

Her husband, University of Pennsylvania Professor Rafael Robb, pleaded guilty to her murder on November 26, 2007 in Montgomery County, PA. Ellen had hired a divorce attorney and was leaving on the day she was murdered. She planned to take her 12 year old daughter with her.

Ellen was literally hours away from Beginning A New Life.

Her Life and Spirit are carried forward in our Mission to create New Lives for Others.

WHY PAINT PHOENIX PURPLE?

In Arizona, one or more children witness a Domestic Violence incident every 44 minutes.

Paint Phoenix Purple Logo
Domestic Violence Awareness

In Her Shoes Training Domestic Violence is one of the most widespread and dangerous health and safety challenges in our community today. In October, the city will Paint Phoenix Purple in observance of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Phoenix is committed to becoming a national leader in preventing and responding to domestic violence.

Your organization or household can support the campaign by coming up with unique ideas to “Paint Phoenix Purple”. The goal is to bring awareness to Domestic Violence and create a culture of change.

Clear Purple RibbonThe color purple and the use of the purple ribbon is a unifying symbol of courage, honor, survival and dedication towards halting domestic violence. Displaying purple throughout the community expresses a strong message there is no place for domestic violence in our community’s homes, neighborhoods, schools, or workplaces.

Paint Phoenix Purple is a local awareness campaign brought to you by a collaboration of more than 50 community, private and public organizations including the Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the O’Connor House and the City of Phoenix. The collaboration drafted a plan entitled ”Road Map to Excellence: Making the City of Phoenix a National Leader in Preventing and Ending Domestic Violence“. Paint Phoenix Purple is the inaugural initiative within the Awareness Campaign for the plan. To learn more about the plan, please visit the City’s website. http://paintphoenixpurple.org/

Limits Overcome Violent Encounters L.O.V.E. Welcomes You
L.O.V.E. believes that having limits when it comes to relationships will prevent violent situations from happening by putting a stop to it before it starts.
This Domestic Violence organization is dedicated to help, support, and bring awareness to all victims known and unknown. Our goal is to educate, prevent, and encourage in hopes to save people just like you.

At Limits Overcome Violent Encounters (L.O.V.E.), we would like to bring awareness to everyone because Domestic Violence isn't a disease, it is not heredity, and it does not choose its victims based on race, color, origin, religious beliefs, etc. It does not discriminate, so our organization is dedicated to be a support system to ALL those who were victims, current victims and future victims.
