Hi Lucinda, I'm very happy to be a member of the streets don't love you back. The book, the movement is very much needed. My Brother Freeway is doing speaking engagements to youth facilities about just that. We need more X Drug dealers to speak up and out about the myths of being a Baller-its a short term life in the fast lane only to end up in the slow lane inside the "Belly Of The Beast".

well I don't know anything about the program I need information on were to go and what to do we have bible class on wednesday nite so I was thinking that you guys could give me some valueable information how to get my son in a program that he and I may attend,I need to know something about the street don't love you back we need a program that help youth I did know anything about the book we need real people thank you

I think what your doing is awesome. This really hits home for me, believe it or not I was homeless on the streets 6 years ago and nearly lost my nursing license and children. As one that has been in the life, starting from a family that was groomed into believing that we alway's have had to obtain everything through a hook-up, The weekly meat man who stole for a living, In 3 or 4 hundred dollar dresses because at one time blackfolks were not to have the taste to want to learn to read, Sisters haveing to lie to welfare folks about having a man in the house. A blackman in the house, causing a division. 4real. So as adults until we make the corrections as well. its not all on da kids

I am not saying that it's cool , we as a people have allowed alot of this stuff to happen to our children. Due to our searches for better, are what we thought would be better, allowing them to raise themselves. I work with GANGSTERS as one may say, Believe if the voices of grandma and grandpa was still around, you would be surprised of what changes would come

May 2010 be a new beginning for us, filled with many new opportunities and possibilities that opens doors for us as we move forward in our lives and may we continue to go for our dreams and goals
