Hi its me Jessica from Cortez High. I didnt get in anymore pictures but that one. I will definately spread the word and tell others to join this website!!!
I wanted to see what your website was all about. I am a teacher and school counselor in the inner city of phoenix. I work in a middle school where gangs and drugs are a part of life. I want so bad to give them strategies and power to avoid, it but it is around them every day. I am looking for programs curriculum or anything I can use to help them avoid this life when it is all they know. It is not enough to say "dont join a gang". The kids start experiementing with it so early like 9 or 10 by tagging and talking about getting jumped in. I am also looking for seminars or conferences for me to learn more about the lifestyle of gangs in phoenix. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Good morning Mrs. Boyd, I would love to share my story. Never knew my father, mother was a crack addict. The streets raised me. I almost lost my life to teen dating abuse. Pregnant at 15, two abortions, marijuana and pcp addicted. I sold crack and marijuana, and worked as a stripper in the clubs. I stole $8.00-$1000.00 worth of merchandise from the mall every week. I was involved in other crimes too. Pimps, gangsters, and hustlers were my friends and family. That's the life I knew. I am a changed woman now by the grace of God. This is just making a long story short. My life of hard times began when I was 4 yrs. old. Living in a
Domestic violent home, molested at 7, almost raped at 14. Only by the grace of God did I survive this all. I went through and over came all these to help someone else. That's what God told me when I asked him why and what did I do to deserve it.
Thank you for having me on your website Mrs. Boyd. I pray that someone will hear my testimony and changed forever! God bless u and all that you r doing for people.
Praise God Lucinda I am excited about being a part of this great ministry. I will get involved and get people over to your site. God Bless you and your Husband.
thank you for the very warm welcome...i hope to be a plus to your site...i love what your doing here and the name of your site is the best name for any site ive seen anywhere...it tells a unquestionable truth....
HeY Lucinda, it's a pleasure to connect with you and Rob, I look forward to getting know you and the streets don't love you back a lot better. Thank yo
I been searching for jobs all over this city, nobody wants to take a chance on a man thats spent 13 1/2 years of his life locked up in every kind of jail imaginable. I'm close to the edge and am about to just say #$%k it!!!! and let my babygirl down yet again. I'm like hat lone wolf out there with no hope of food or water, where's my oasis, ya know?
Thank you for accepting me into the circle and I look forward to networking and getting involved fully with the Streets don't love you back Movement. I got out of prison and built a solid and certain path for myself and then let people who I thought was really trying to help me bring me down. I knew coming back to the same place of my troubled youth was not going to be a good thing for me, but I had no say -so in the matter. I have a slew of knowledge and talent that is being suppressed because of the fact that "the streets" has dogged me out so bad, but still I stay grounded and focused on my writing because I do have an amazing story that I would love to share with others and show them that GOD is indeed real. After all that I have been through nobody will be able to doubt "THAT POWER" that lies w/in all of us. My hope is to share my story. One question that I have before I leave and that is I clicked the speaking engagement part in the very beginning and I was thinking that that meant actually doing some speaking engagements, is that correct? and if so, what do I need to do @this point?
Hello Mrs.Lucinda..so nice to be accepted into your circle..I am a long time friend of Rob's and was so glad he found me on fb..I see that you are his inspiration as well as his soulmate. I am so proud of him and you as well. I have been looking on the different pages and listening to you radio shows as well as watching your interviews..You are a godsend..I thank you for helping my brother to reach his full worth and change his life around. I am looking forward to meeting you on the next visit to Detroit. there are a lot of positive things you guys have going on that I feel the younger people here in the "D" could gain from. I'm so hoping you guys would stsrt a chapter here so we can see positive changes as well. Stay blessed and look ing forward to meeting you. keep up the good work
Thank you for the warm welcome Lucinda, that was really nice you dont get that much out in the world today. I hope to learn alot of things on your website and to help or teach others here too. And I hope that everyone has many wonderful days every day when you are blessed to wake up, enjoy life.
Thank You for the welcome. Have try several times to link up our social sites have and they do not take. Have twitter, web site and facebook. Feel free to join us and hope that will work.
Thank you so much. Not real sure how all this works as i am not real good with technology yet. I do know I have had an interest in helping others and in forensics since i was a child. last night i seen the show with Donna Buchanan and checked into her book and found ur site. i have lived with domestic violence as a child, and mother. I also have lost my childhood best friend to drugs and have struggled with addiction myself. I have searched in my heart and mind for ways to help, to make a difference and i feel this is it. Thank you for this opportunity to be a part of ur movement.
