A New Hope, started by MHS class of '14 and NAU student, Rosie Naranjo. As an offshoot of the The Streets Don't Love You Back Movement, this is the first mission to inspire other college and high school students to give back to the community. The goal of this backpack drive is to fill one hundred backpacks for those less fortunate and homeless. This is not just about buying the homeless materialistic things. We do not plan to just give and walk away. It's about giving, making a friend, listening to a story. Sometimes all it takes is for somebody to show that they care. So if anybody wants to join our movement and help out with organizing and collecting material and actually going out and delivering and talking to the less fortunate, feel free to ask. We will be sure to post planned events.
