MOVING FORWARD WITH PRISON REFORM

THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH FOR DONATING "THE SONS OF A PREACHER " TO MADISON CORECTIONAL UNIT IN MADISON, INDIANA. The documentary touched the viewers' hearts while reminding us as women that we need to be positive role models in our childrens' lives as well as encouraging the fathers of our children to stay involved & be a positive male role model to our children, especially our sons.
I was not fortunate enough to raise my children. In 1994 I was incarcerated for the murder of my husband & my children were taken from me despite the promise my late husband's family made to me that they would never keep my children from me. Both of my children had biological fathers but they were not present in their lives. My story is told in 'UNTANGLING THE WEB" by JW LEE and his soon-to-be-reeased book titled "UNTANGELD".
Currently I am housed at MCU where a most amazing woman presides as SUPERINTENDENT, JAN DAVIS. She treats us inmates with respect while keeping her prison safe and secure. We are also blessed with a deputy Superintendent, Mr. John Riggs who walks his walk of FAITH daily while donating his time for numerous Bible studies. Both Ms. Davis & Mr. Riggs are FABULOUS in their official capacity as well as their treatment of the women housed in their prison. I am blessed to be one step closer to Work Release & one step closer to going HOME. Thank you again for allowing us to view THE SONS OF A PREACHER & know that I support "THE STREETS DON'T LOVE YOU BACK" 100%.SUSAN GRUND
