An investigation into the shooting of a police officer in Southern West Virginia is leading investigators into things they'd hoped they'd never see.

A man was stabbed for wearing the wrong colors.

COLORADO SPRING - A gang related stabbing happened on Saturday night. The victim was stabbed in the 2600 block of East Yampa. According to police, the man was stabbed for wearing the wrong colors. He drove himself to Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries. Police say gang violence is increasing, but not necessarily the number of gangs in the city.

Police: Triple Stabbing Is Gang-Related

LAS VEGAS -- A trio of juvenile gang members is responsible for three stabbings overnight in a neighborhood near downtown Las Vegas, police said.

Police said the gang members tried to rob and wound up stabbing three juveniles at a home on Rexford Place, near Las Vegas and Oakey boulevards just after midnight Monday. The victims were rushed to University Medical Center with minor injuries.

Woman injured in Ogden gang shooting, police say

A woman was injured in a shooting early Monday in Ogden, and police believe it was gang-related.

The 26-year-old Layton woman was visiting friends in the 3200 block of Stevens Road when she walked outside about 4:30 a.m., said Ogden police Lt. Danielle Croyle.

Multiple shots were fired from a handgun, and one hit her in the side, Croyle said. She was taken to a local hospital. Her injuries weren't thought to be…

NYPD arrests dozens after gang runs amok in Times Square, Herald Square

The latest outbreak of midtown mayhem - which the mayor Monday declared an episode of "wilding" - resurrected memories of the "bad old days of the 1970s."

Fifty-six youths were arrested or given summonses after hundreds of thugs rampaged through Times Square and Herald Square on Easter Sunday night.

Fresno Police Steps Up Efforts to Arrest Bulldog Gang Members.

Fresno, Calif. (KMPH News) — A string of gang shootings over the weekend are prompting concern about a rise in violence in the city of Fresno. Investigators call it a feud between two separate groups within the Bulldog criminal street Gang.

Suspected gang member arrested for last week's shooting.

Police on Tuesday arrested a 20-year-old suspected gang member for accidentally shooting a teenaged girl last week and then covering the incident up.



David Espinoza, an alleged Norteño gang member, is charged with street terrorism, making a false report to a peace officer, concealing a crime scene, being a gang member in possession of a handgun, contributing to delinquency and negligent discharge of a firearm, Tracy police Sgt. 2 injured in gang-related shooting in Providence.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Just hours after the city's third homicide of the year, two men were shot Thursday night in a separate incident in what the police describe as a gang-related drive-by shooting in the West End.
