Robert S Womack has set his sights on being successful in writing and in life period. He was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, where it went down on many occasions. He developed a passion for writing as a frustrational release, this release has turned to pure passion. He started running the streets at an early age, to get away from the drug abuse that had captured his mother’s mind. Learning to make different moves in the streets, he started selling crack cocaine and stealing cars. From there came the jail trips to the halls, then camps, California youth authority, and later prison. Once he had made it to prison, the whole street outlook had taken the best of him(his freedom). Robert was determined to better himself!! He started rapping and attending the band room that prison offered, while also going to school full time. With a heavy rap background, he started recording Cd’s and sending them to different music companies. Landing a contract with a major record label, that dream was crushed by his parole officer, once he was released. Left with 300 lyrics, he started writing books, determined to make it through, the storm. Robert is the proud author of “Something 4 You haters”, and “Black Rose”.
