I knew Reggie and his brother Boogaloo, Boogaloo was more low key then Reggie. We used to always seem to end up at some of the same parties, we used to talk and laugh about how tough one or the other’s group, gang, squard clique or what ever people choose to call it- was. The Schwinn Flynns was not a gang. We where a Club that where many. Reggie at the time was with a organization called the Dollar Bills, in which later was changed to the 56 Players. Reggie kept denying anything to do with the Dollar Bills because the Dollar Bills had many enimes at that time’ that could have been a reason for the sudden name change, I used to tease him about the about why the name was changed, this was in 1978. I did”nt know Reggie as a killer’ like what I keep hearing. I only knew Reggie as a Gang Banger, and Money Maker. The Reggie I knew was of good nature until someone steps on his toes or badly disrespect him. He was not one who stood back and let you push him around. He did Know how to leave well enough alone. I say this because he and I almost had a run in and we both decided to just chill. To me he seem like a very intelegent guy with a with a chip on his shoulder that states. I’m kool as long as you are, and what ever wrong you do to me I’m doing it double to you. The 56 Players and Dollar Bills were base on Vandyke between E. Warren and Mack Ave. I believe they attended kettering High School. Back then kettering was so infested with gang violence there could have been no way for Reggie and his crew to servive in that inviroment with the Bowery Bishops and Chain dominance of that era, at Kettering. They was not large enough to consitancely compete with gangs that large. I used to see Reggie and crew banging with the Mack Hoods often on and off. They could not stand each other period. Ronzell Leader of the Mack Hoods at the time was based on Mack Ave between E.Grand Blvd and Mt.Elliot. Oscar Terry was one of the Mack Hoods Hit men who did a lot of putting fear in Rozell enimes that was to large for him to physically handle himself. Oscar Terry is now serving time in the Pen for rape.THINK
