Two people were stabbed early Sunday morning in south Greeley, and police said the injuries were not life-threatening, but they believe the incident is gang-related.
Greeley police were called at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday to the 2500 block of 14th Avenue Court on a report that a gang party had erupted into a fight.
Police discovered two people had been stabbed — one to the right side of the body and the other person in an arm. Both were taken to North Colorado Medical Center.
The names and ages of the victims were not released. No arrests have been made, and police are seeking a search warrant to enter the house.
Initially, the Greeley SWAT team, along with the Greeley police's gang unit, were called to the house. No one answered the door when police first arrived, which is why the SWAT team was called. Police later opened the door and found no one inside, and there was no standoff or confrontation.
