Are You Using Your God-Given Talents To Get Ahead?

I believe that God gave each of us something special that we can use to raise ourselves out of negative circumstances. Some of the more obvious are talents like singing, musicianship, poetry, preaching, writing, athletics, dancing, artistry and many others. These gifts are the kinds that most easily grab people’s attention and give us a platform that we can use to gain notice and support in order to elevate ourselves.

I grew up in the inner city in the 50’s and 60’s, though things weren’t as challenging back then.  God blessed me with several gifts including musicianship, songwriting, dancing, graphic design and technical aptitude as well as organizational and leadership skills. I was able to use those gifts to travel and perform onstage with some very big-name entertainers.  But, even though I recognized that my talents were gifts from God,  I never used any of them for His glory until 10 years ago when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. Since then I've changed that by serving in the Media Departments of the 2 churches I've belonged to. But I’ve wanted to do more for a long time .  I’ve  repeatedly asked God to give me a way to use my gifts to bring more souls to His Divine Kingdom.

Well, long story shorter, I recently joined a company that has technologies that make it possible for an ordinary individual such as myself to help others reach out to an international audience and marketplace..  Among these technologies is an internet-television network system. God gave me a vision to use my network tool to lift other people up by giving them a platform to express themselves using the talents and skills He has given them.

So I've created the Expressions TV Network and hope to debut it soon. My primary goal is to encourage people to utilize this network to share their talents in ways that glorify God so that people from around the world can witness God's blessings.  But my network will be open to all people, regardless of their chosen forms of expression (so long as it isn’t negative or vulgar in content) because whether they know it or not, and whether they are ready to accept it or not. Their talents are God given too.

I want www.ExpressionsTV.Net  to be a place where everyone from rank amateurs to award-winning professionals will feel comfortable submitting their works on audio and video recordings, or even performing live for worldwide internet broadcast.

So I'm asking for your help. Whether you have one of the talents mentioned above, or you have other talents useful to a project like this, such as graphic design, video-editing, marketing skills, business and communication skills ie: blogging etc. I'm asking for your input and for your support. Just ask yourselves. Are you using your God-given talents to get ahead? Wouldn't being a part of www.ExpressionsTV.Net be an excellent way to achieve that?
