Man Steals Car From Auburn Hills Golf & Soccer Dome

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- The Auburn Hills Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man they said carjacked a woman at gunpoint Wednesday.

A 43-year-old woman told police she had just parked her vehicle at the Auburn Hills Golf and Soccor Dome at about 7 p.m. when a man with a handgun approached her and demanded her keys.

Police said the woman was not hurt but that the man took off in her vehicle.

Police said the vehicle was recovered a short time later at Pontiac High School.

The woman described the carjacker as a white man between 18 and 20 years old, 5 feet 7 inches with a medium build and sandy brown hair. He was wearing "shiny" nylon sweat pants and a dark blue hooded sweatshirt.

Police have released a computer-generated composite of the carjacker.
