Police: Triple Stabbing Is Gang-Related

LAS VEGAS -- A trio of juvenile gang members is responsible for three stabbings overnight in a neighborhood near downtown Las Vegas, police said.

Police said the gang members tried to rob and wound up stabbing three juveniles at a home on Rexford Place, near Las Vegas and Oakey boulevards just after midnight Monday. The victims were rushed to University Medical Center with minor injuries.

The same group is also accused of severely beating a young man a short time later on Santa Paula Drive, just south of Oakey Boulevard. Police said both incidents are related.

That person’s condition is unknown.

Two of the suspects were arrested, police said, while the third hasn’t been caught
