Join us with guest Ms. Alice Johnson, a survivor of abandonment, incest, gangs, drugs, abduction and exploitation. She was abandon by my mother at nine years old and lived on the streets wondering from friends to relatives and then joined the Black Gangster Disciples at age10. That’s where she learned to rob, steal, shoot guns, sell dope. Eventually everyone started to go there separate ways, i.e. children, death, jails etc. Two weeks before her 12th birthday she was taken at gun point by some pimps, tortured and sold through the underground. Her family was held over her head and she feared for their safety as well as her own. She lived all her teenage and young adult life in bondage. At some point around sixteen she submitted to this lifestyle in order to survive. Willingly allowing herself to be exploited. She attempted to leave a few times but would end up starving because she did not know how to survive. For the longest time she believed that this was the life God had chosen for her and didn’t see a way out. When she became an adult and more rebellious they forced her to smoke dope until she was a full blown junky. She didn’t believe she could go home. She didn’t believe she could be normal and thought she would die as a junkie and a hoe because that‘s what they told her. Today she is free… mind, body and spirit. Hears Alice’s story
