I am working on getting my premit to go into the county jails and local prisons and introduce the "FELONS ON THE MOVE" program to those inmates who will be getting released. I will conduct a re-entry workshop on topics on how to get Reintergrated by into the communities with Jobs and Education. I am hoping to do this sooner then later.

I was just ask if this program will fail like the rest of them..This program will fail if you "FELONS" allow it to fail. This is why its important to come to one of the Introduction Workshops! This program will be conducted by Members Only! We will have our own Board Members and Advisory Members! We Will work collectively together on ALL EVENTS, FUNDRAISING, CELEBRATIONS, TRAINING, WORKSHOPS, 2013 CONFERENCE, JOB FAIR AND OVERSEES EVERYTHING PRETENDING TO THE PROGRAM! NO ONE FROM THE OUTSIDE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TELL US HOW TO RUIN OUR PROGRAM! FELONS YOU ARE IN CONTROL AND YOUR ARE THE BOSS! ALONG AS WE ARE NOT BREAKING THE LAW! IF ANYONE FROM THE OUTSIDE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS THEY WILL HAVE TO BRING IT BEFORE OUR BOARD MEMBERS AND WE DECIDE AT THAT POINT. THERES NEVER BEEN A PROGRAM LIKE THIS IN NEW YORK STATE. WE ARE ABOUT TO BE SEEN AND HEARD..

Commissioner Testifies on 2013-14 Executive Budget
Commissioner Brian Fischer appeared at the public hearing on the Public Protection portion of the 2013-14 Executive Budget, held by the State Legislature's fiscal committees on February 6, 2013. The Commissioner presented testimony on the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision’s proposed budget for the fiscal year that begins April 1, 2013.

Statistics show parolees are committing fewer serious crimes
The Division of Parole's FY 2009-10 Annual Report summarizes the activities of the Division and its two main functions – deciding which offenders whom the Legislature has made eligible for parole have met the statutory criteria for discretionary release, and then monitoring and mentoring those who are released to community supervision.

During FY 2009-10, the Division of Parole made substantial progress in its mission to promote public safety and successfully transition releases back to the community – as evidenced by the fact that the percentage of releasees returned to prison for new felony convictions is at its lowest point since the early 1990s.

This one of the tool i use when arguing with a parole or probation officer! I use this as a defense mode to keep them from violating my clients in the past.

My goal for this program is to be 300 STRONG in membership by the end of 2013! We have plans to introduce this program to Obama (The President). President Obama believes Felons should have a SECOND CHANCE! the President trying to submit a plan that will sue employers who refuses to hire Felons. This is the first program in any state thats only gear towards helping felons ONLY, AND FELONS ARE THE LEADERS OF THE PROGRAM! We are hoping to register at least 500 individuals from the sorrounding areas such as Rome, Utica, Rochester, Auburn and Watertown inviting their re-entry programs to register their clients for the Felons on The Move 2013 Conference. WE CANT DO IT WITHOUT YOU! WE NEED YOU (FELONS) COME TO THE WORKSHOPS, BECOME A MEMBER, JOIN THE BOARD, BECOME A PEER-LEADER, AND BECOME PART OF ORGANIZING FELONS ON THE MOVE CONFERENCE 2013. THIS IS ABOUT YOU AND MAKING A DIFFERENT FOR YOUR FUTURE AND YOUR FAMILY.

well this is my first time on this site but i knew i had to become a member because in cincinnati it is hard to find groups created just for felons unless you are still on parole,so i hope i can help and b helped at the same time, ive been physically free since 2006 but mentally im still locked up and its getting harder for me everyday and im stating to lose hope, since my release i got married, had two kids and came up on a house now my problem comes when i go out to look for a job at places where i know they hire felons and still dont get a job and the ones that i do get mite last a month or two and then im back to square one the last few jobs i had one i got hurt and when i filed for workmans comp they fired me and the one after that turned out to be me doing a bunch of free work that was last year and i aint been paid yet and i havnt worked since,im tryin to stay on a straight line but latley ive found myself contemplating goin left and taking penatentiary chances to provide for my family.
