Jacob The Jeweler Enters Halfway House After Two-Year Bid

Jacob The Jeweler Enters Halfway House After Two-Year Bid

In 2008, Jacob The Jeweler aka Arabov was charged with conspiring to launder $270 million in drug profits that were linked to the Black Mafia Family or BMF. He took a plea and confessed to falsifying records, and giving false statements to federal prosecutors. As a result, he was sentenced to a maximum of three years and ten months in prison.

Since Arabov has an extensive commitment to the community, and has made countless charitable contributions, the judge reduced his sentence to two years and six months in prison.

"I feel ashamed that I broke the laws of this country, a country that has been so good for me," Jacob The Jeweler stated. "I will carry this shame for the rest of my life."

Jacob was recently transferred to a halfway house after serving two years and being released six months early on good behavior. He is extremely popular for his unique jewelry designs, and has made custom jewels for some of the most prestigious rappers such as Diddy, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and many more.

Arabov will pick up where he left off, and continue to run Jacob & Co. Jewelry during normal business hours, and return to the halfway house after work.THINK
