More Details Revealed In Suge Knight/Yukmouth Incident

A detective involved in the investigation of the incident that allegedly took place between West Coast rapper Yukmouth and Suge Knight at a California supermarket has revealed new details surrounding the incident.

As reported by the Associated Press, Detective Jeff Briscoe stated that, 35-year-old Jerold Ellis, who is known as Yukmouth in the hip-hop community, reported that he was in a Woodland Hills supermarket parking lot talking to Knight on Monday (March 22) night about a debt that another rapper allegedly owed the former label boss. Yuk's police report then says that 10 other men arrived, knocked him down, and robbed him of his watch, medallion, and other jewelry worth $92,000.

Despite initially identifying Knight as one of the people involved in the assault and robbery, Yuk later recanted. The authorities are still investigating the incident because the stolen items have not been recovered. A picture of the medallion in the hands of the rumored robbers appeared online yesterday (March 23). The men are allegedly offering the stolen jewelry to the highest bidder.

Yukmouth is mostly known for his work as one half of the rap duo Luniz who released the weed anthem I Got 5 On It in 1996.THINK
