His charges in Pinal County include child molestation, sexual exploitation of a minor and indecent exposure.
Kreus lived in Maricopa, but moved to Tucson after he was forced out by his wife, according to an MPD press release. In Tucson he was arrested for kidnapping two 15-year-old girls on separate occasions. For his two felony convictions stemming from the kidnappings in Tucson, Kreus accepted a plea deal for one count of kidnapping and one count of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor, both felonies.
While still living in Maricopa, the mother of a 12-year-old girl discovered Kreus was in possession of photos of the girl that were forcibly taken. The female victim then revealed incidents of sexual abuse.
Kreus was a convicted felon before his sex-related convictions. He served more than 10 years in prison on armed robbery and other related charges before he was release in 2007
