The 2013 Arizona Golden Gloves State Championships will be held Mar. 1-3, at the Arizona Event Center in Mesa. The event is being presented by the Arizona Golden Gloves. Started by the late Al Fenn, the legacy continues and is carried on by his family, Kelly Fenn, Jennifer Gibbons, Lucinda and Rob Boyd, and many more.

A tradition in Arizona for well over 60 years, the best talent in the state battle for the prize. It will be 3 days of boxing at it's best, as boxers from all weight divisions will be showcased.

Kelly Fenn of the Arizona Golden Gloves, says Valley legend, Jesus "El Martillo" Gonzales (27-2-0, 14 KOs) will be in attendance, and will be fighting this year on a FanBase Promotions card. Also, in the works are appearances by Michael Carbajal, BJ Flores, Ray Beltran and more.

The action starts on Friday Mar. 1, at 7 p.m., the action continues Saturday Mar. 2, at 3 p.m. The finals happen Sunday Mar. 3, at 3 p.m., capping off an exciting weekend of boxing.

The Weigh-In will be held on Friday Mar. 1, from 7-9 a.m. at the Arizona Event Center.

Tickets for the Arizona Golden Gloves State Championships are $25 for ringside, and $15 for general admission.
