Finding standout employees makes the difference

The business has changed from its original core business of commercial cleaning to a mix of commercial and residential to its present focus on residential.

“It has taken me some time to find the right mix of what is important in running a successful business,” owner Anthony Gray said. “I started with finding the right employees, then developing my approach on managing, coaching and training the staff.”

Gray said when measured by revenue, size and market share, the company is still a start up. “But I am very optimistic with the growth that we are expecting.”

Gray said the business is at a point where he and his employees are consistently making customers happy while having fun.

“I’ve found a ‘gold vein’ with respect to employees,” he said. “My company has three siblings from the Fierros family who were born and raised in Maricopa.”

Matt, 21, is a standout football player who graduated from Maricopa in 2008.

Gray said Melissa, 23, and Emily, 19, like their brother Matt, are hard-working, polite and professional.

“I am very happy they are a part of the team,” he said.
